I’ve always held a deep respect for Annie Lennox and her music, so when she gave me her multi-track masters to mash up, I was thrilled. The task was to tie together all of her solo career into single song and video, and I could deconstruct it as much as I wanted! Woohoo!
Her music expresses much hardship and sadness, but also defiance, joy and triumph, and I wanted the mashup to reflect that journey. Here’s the tracklist:
- Why
- Walking on Broken Glass
- Little Bird
- No More I Love You’s
- Waiting in Vain
- Something So Right
- Dark Road
- Sing
- Shining Light

Awesome! Would love to purchase, going on iTunes? I’d love to hear a Eurythmics mash w/ Sex Crime and Missionary Man- and whatever you think would work.
Again Awesome.

This is an absolutely sublime mash-up. I’ve loved your work for years, downloading all of your tracks and listening to them over and over. This one is masterful. Bravo! Please, please put up the MP3s!

I’ve been a fan of yours for a long time, but a fan of Annie’s for a faaaaaar longer time. To combine both of your exquisite talents into this project was a masterstroke.
What an astonishingly beautiful and insightful video. The way you combined threads of lyrics and musical motifs to create a new entity, in effect a biography of one of the world’s greatest artists.
Truly inspiring. Fantastic.
When you and Annie release an MP3 / MP4 download ep of this track I will be the first to buy it.
Love it, love it, love it.
